This product notice is to inform you that all steel regulators and some pilots are being standardized to use a 2672 bonnet, replacing the 2671.
We have found that this is more advantageous to our customers to have a threaded port included on the bonnet because many companies are utilizing different methods of vent capture to lower or eliminate emissions.
This was not possible with the 2671 bonnet because it only had a small communication hole drilled for venting purposes and no way to connect to that.
This change will be effective on newly manufactured products beginning in January 2024.
