Tech Mail | Index Pin Location on Glycol Pump

Index Pin Locator | New Vs. Old Style

We have recently changed the index pin location for Glycol Pump Blocks and Piston Rod Glands. This new change will prevent a piston Rod Gland from being installed with the alignment pin in one of the gland’s communicating holes. New Piston Rod Gland will still have a hole in the old alignment position in addition to the new location. This will allow customers to use the new Piston Rod Glands in conjunction with old Pump Blocks. However, new Pump Blocks will only have the new alignment pin position and therefore will not work with old Piston Rod Glands. This change will affect all models of Kimray Glycol Pumps.
